Wonderfully informative, and readable in a single sitting. The methodology and practices of Buddhism have been broken down to their essentials in a remarkably easy-to-understand way. Highly recommended

This is a great introductory book to Buddhism. It's a very old religion that originated in India and later got spread over whole East Asia. It's a religion of peace and believes in inner strength. This book provides proper ways by which we can implement a few methods to make our life more peaceful and calm. The author has done a great job to note down all the useful methods and explained each of them in concise and to-the-point manner. I found all the tips very useful. This is highly recommended book for everyone.

Subtitle could be Buddhism for dummies. The book is well written and direct. Good references source if you decide to continue your journey.

Basic but helpful.

It is brief but in terms of practical it only offered a short section on the matter which was disappointing.

Didn't really interest me all that much this is just the Bare Bone of Buddhism. Very little was even said about the Buddha.

If you are unsure what buddhism is all about but would like to learn a little more then this is a good place to start.
In plain and simple language this book will help you understand the origins and practice of this philosophy and why millions of people around the world follow the Buddha's teaching.

A concise introduction to Buddhism

This book gets the main messages over in a way that is accessible and clear. It's aimed at those that have minimal knowledge of Buddhism. If you're vaguely interested in finding out what Buddhism entails without getting bogged down in anything metaphysical, this is for you.

A very basic and short introduction

A short book with little to offer on "integrating and practicing Buddhism". I thought I had somehow got a corrupt version of the Kindle edition but having looked back at the description it really is ONLY 32 pages long! Kindle pages not real book sized pages.
This is more of a brief introduction and I know it only cost me 99p but I would not have added this to my library even it had been free. I'm giving it 2 stars rather than just one because I have never studied Buddhism and did find a few interesting facts, but overall even with my limited knowledge on the subject I was disappointed with the purchase. Maybe I expected too much but I don't consider it value for money.
